Chris Fraizer, CPA
Partner, Waterfront CPA Group
Chris Fraizer focuses on individual and corporate tax issues for clients in the Kitsap and Puget Sound area. He believes that proactive tax planning is essential for individuals and business owners. Chris' client base includes many local businesses and real estate professionals.
A graduate of Brigham Young University, Chris was formerly a tax manager with PriceWaterhouseCoopers, LLC in Seattle. He specialized in state and local tax issues, and has continued to implement this specialty for clients in the Puget Sound area. A review of state tax regulations often results in significant savings for local companies.
Outside of the office, Chris enjoys activities with his family, gardening and working with the Boy Scouts of America. Chris is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Washington State Society of Accountants.
Michael Lizon, EA, CFP® Certified Financial Planner™

As a Certified Financial Planner™, Michael offers services that help bring financial peace of mind. These services include all aspects of our financial life; including preparing for retirement, investing and protecting assets, tax advantaged retirement plans for individuals and businesses, minimizing taxes, and preparing for the unexpected.
The “golden rule” is Michael’s guide as he works with individuals and businesses, to help them find the financial answers that are in their best interest. Michael has over 10 years of diverse experience in the financial industry, including comprehensive financial planning, investment management, implementation of business retirement plans, income tax preparation, municipal bond investing, and special situations. In addition to the CFP® certification, he holds the EA (Enrolled Agent) income tax designation.
Outside the office, Michael enjoys spending time with family, gardening, and hiking the beautiful trails of the Pacific Northwest.

James Fritz, CPA
Tax Manager
James mainly focuses on tax preparation and planning. He also does accounting, which includes comprehensive Quickbooks experience. He seeks to understand & address his clients’ various business needs.
James grew up in Poulsbo and attended North Kitsap High School. Before becoming an accountant, he was a math teacher in the Highline School District in Burien. Beyond acquiring a great number sense, the management and communication skills gained in teaching have served him well in accounting.
Outside of work, James enjoys soccer, playing the trombone, being outdoors, reading, and salsa dancing. He has hiked all through the Olympic Mountains and can probably give you a good hike recommendation.
Matt Olson, EA
Tax Manager
Matt Olson graduated from Saint Martin’s University in 2014 with a major in Accounting. After graduation, he joined Waterfront CPA Group as an accountant. He earned a professional designation from the IRS in 2020 as an Enrolled Agent. His roles include accounting, tax preparation and tax planning.
Matt grew up in the Bremerton area and attended Bremerton High School. He feels right at home working in the community where he grew up. When not at work he is spending time with family, playing soccer, or traveling.
Nichole Fraizer, EA
Office Manager, Tax Professional
Nichole specializes in federal income taxation and planning for individuals and small business clients. She has experience with simple and complex trusts, estates, and individual tax preparation. Nichole enjoys working with landlords and rental issues and uses her experience as a landlord to help teach taxpayers how to plan and reconcile their own rental activities. Nichole strives to offer each client professional services by taking time to listen to their concerns first, then working to resolve issues and plan for the future.
Nichole earned her bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University where she studied Business Administration and Accounting. She is an Enrolled Agent recognized by the IRS and as such, has unrestricted rights to represent taxpayers before the Internal Revenue Service.
Nichole is a Northwest girl at heart: she loves the green, the water, and the mountains. Her hobbies include playing the piano, hiking, taking family vacations, and laughing at her husband’s cheesy sense of humor.
